CRITERIOS PARA LA NOMINACIÓN

• Logros personales, académicos, profesionales y en la comunidad.
• Alto desempeño probado en su campo de especialidad.
• Demostración de colaboración dentro o fuera de su campo de especialidad e influencia más allá de su posición formal.
• Contribuciones al avance profesional y/o social de la mujer.
• Los logros pueden distribuirse a través de su carrera profesional, pero los mismos deben ser mayormente de los últimos 5 años.

TÉRMINOS Y CONDICIONES

Someter una nominación personal o consentir ser nominada, constituye aceptación de los siguientes términos y condiciones:

1. Para ser elegible la candidata debe ser:

• Mayor de edad;
• La compañía para la cual labora debe ser Socia Activa de AIPR;
• La candidata debe ser afiliada del Capitulo Mujer Industrial (puede hacerse socia hasta el mismo día de la nominación);
• Residir en Puerto Rico;
• Pertenecer a una empresa que esté operando en Puerto Rico, por lo menos 5 años previo a la fecha de nominación.

2. Las nominaciones pueden ser sometidas por la propia candidata o por un tercero. En caso de nominación por un tercero, se requerirá consentimiento por escrito de la candidata.  Toda nominación ya sea propia o por otra persona debe ser avalada por su Supervisor directo (en el caso que aplique) y el Departamento de Recursos Humanos de la compañía donde trabaja; mediante evidencia escrita.
3. Miembros del comité ejecutivo del Capítulo de Mujer Industrial y del Comité de Nominaciones al Premio de la Mujer Industrial de AIPR no son elegibles a participar del premio mientras están activos en Comité.  Además, no serán elegibles pasadas ganadoras de otros reconocimientos otorgados por el Capítulo y directoras de junta activas ese año en la Junta de directores de la AIPR.
4. El Comité de Nominaciones y Comité Ejecutivo del Capítulo de Mujer Industrial seleccionará las candidatas que mejor represente el objetivo del Premio Mujer Industrial y cumplan con al menos 4 de los 5 criterios de nominación.
5. El Comité Ejecutivo del Capítulo de Mujer Industrial seleccionará de las candidatas la ganadora del premio de Mujer Industrial 2023 y de las finalistas se seleccionará una representante de Empresa Local, Ciencia y Tecnología, Servicio, Manufactura, Ingeniería, Sector Publico, Seguridad, Salud o cualquier otro sector según las nominaciones recibidas para recibir reconocimiento en estos renglones según aplique.
6. El premio de la Mujer Industrial y reconocimiento a las representantes en los diferentes renglones se entregará en una ceremonia formal en el Congreso de la Mujer Industrial, que se llevará a cabo el 6 de diciembre del 2023.
7. El Comité Ejecutivo del Capítulo Mujer Industrial se reserva el derecho de conceder cualquier reconocimiento especial, cuando a su sola discreción entienda que alguna candidata nominada merece dicho reconocimiento.
8. La mujer premiada debe estar disponible para entrevistas o actividades de promoción relacionadas al Premio Mujer Industrial.
9. La ganadora del Premio de Mujer Industrial 2023 debe estar disponible para trabajar activamente como miembro del Capítulo y a ser la líder del Programa de Mentoría de este.  Esta dinámica será trabajada a través de Capítulo de la Mujer Industrial.
10. Las nominaciones deben recibirse completas en la AIPR en o antes del 20 de octubre del 2023.  Las nominaciones que no estén llenas en todas sus partes a esa fecha no serán consideradas.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Submitting a personal nomination or consenting to be nominated constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

• The candidate is an adult.
• The candidate’s employer must be an active member of PRMA.
• The candidate must be a member of the Industrial Women’s Chapter (can apply for membership until the day of the nomination)
• Live in Puerto Rico
• The candidate’s employer has been in operation in Puerto Rico for at least five (5) years prior to the date of nomination.

2. Nominations can be submitted by the candidate herself or by a third party. In the case of nomination by a third party, written consent of the candidate will be required.  Any nomination, whether one's own or by another person, must be endorsed by her direct Supervisor (if applicable) and the Human Resources Department of the company where she works, through written evidence.
3. Members of the executive committee of the Industrial Women's Chapter and the Nominations Committee for the AIPR Industrial Women's Award are not eligible to participate in the award while they are active on the Committee.  Additionally, past winners of other recognitions granted by the Chapter and active board directors that year on the AIPR Board of Directors will not be eligible.
4. The Nominations Committee and Executive Committee of the Industrial Woman Chapter will select the candidates who best represent the objective of the Industrial Woman Award and meet at least 4 of the 5 nomination criteria.
5. The Executive Committee of the Industrial Woman Chapter will select the winner of the Industrial Woman 2023 award from the candidates.  Also, from the finalists, a representative of Local Business, Science and Technology, Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, Public Sector, Security, Health, or any other sector, will be selected according to the nominations received to receive recognition in these areas, as applicable.
6. The Industrial Women's award and recognition of representatives in different areas will be presented in a formal ceremony at the Congress of Industrial Women, which will take place on December 6, 2023.
7. The Executive Committee of the Industrial Woman Chapter reserves the right to grant any special recognition when at its sole discretion it understands that any nominated candidate deserves said recognition.
8. The awarded woman must be available for interviews or promotional activities related to the Industrial Woman Award.
9. The winner of the 2023 Industrial Woman Award must be available to actively work as a member of the Chapter and to be the leader of the Chapter's Mentoring Program.  This dynamic will be worked on through the Industrial Women's Chapter.
10. Nominations must be received complete by AIPR on or before October 20, 2023. Nominations that are not complete by that date will not be considered.
